This project was a logo design study completed during my time at The Bryan-College Station Eagle newspaper. I was tasked with creating a logo for a new seasonal magazine aimed at college students, set to launch during the Christmas season. The goal was to design an identity that felt festive and youthful while still fitting within the publication's existing brand family.
Concept & Results:
I explored a range of typographic and illustrative directions to capture the spirit of the holidays in a way that would resonate with a college-aged audience. I focused on creating a design that was playful, modern, and immediately recognizable. The final logo was well-received by the editorial team and successfully reflected the tone of the magazine. This project sharpened my ability to design within specific audience and seasonal parameters, and it reinforced the importance of aligning visual identity with content and context.
